Connect your store

Connecting your store to a Try-On account, step by step, and where you manage everything afterwards.

This page is a draft. It follows the plugin as it is being built, and details may change before release.

Try-On makes the videos on its own servers, so your store connects to a Try-On account once. Until it’s connected, nothing is sent anywhere.

Connect

  1. In WooCommerce › Settings › Try-On › Account & spending, choose Connect Try-On. It opens connect.try-on.co in a new tab. Your admin tab waits, shows how long the request stays valid (15 minutes), and updates by itself.
  2. Log in, create an account, or continue with Google. A new account asks for your name, a business name (the account’s name: tokens belong to it, and more stores can join it later), your email and a password, and for you to accept the terms.
  3. Confirm your email, if you signed up with one. The page carries on by itself once you open the link, on any device.
  4. When the page says the store is connected, close it. Your admin tab now shows the account, the tokens left and Buy tokens.

After connecting

Everything else happens in your WordPress admin: videos, tokens and the spending log. You come back to connect.try-on.co only to buy tokens.

What the plugin sends once it’s connected is on What is sent where.
