Troubleshooting

What to do when an image is turned down, a render fails, a video doesn't arrive, connecting doesn't finish, or tokens run short.

This page is a draft. It follows the plugin as it is being built, and details may change before release.

An image was turned down

The notice says what’s wrong, for example that it isn’t a photo of the garment. The check is charged, but no video is made. Choose a better photo (see What makes a good garment photo) and generate again.

A render failed

The spending log shows it. If it failed before the video was made, its tokens came back; if it failed at the generator, it still cost its tokens. Remake tries again, with its tokens shown first.

A video hasn’t arrived

Videos are made in the background, through WooCommerce’s scheduled actions (Tools › Scheduled Actions), which run when WordPress runs its scheduled tasks. On a quiet store, or one where WordPress’s own scheduler is turned off, set up a real cron job for WordPress so they run on time.

The finished file your store fetches is there for 72 hours. If your store couldn’t fetch it in that time, the video has to be made again.

Connecting doesn’t finish

A connection request stays valid for 15 minutes. If the Try-On tab was closed, open it again from the admin tab; if it is too late, start again with Connect Try-On.

There aren’t enough tokens

The plugin won’t queue work your balance can’t cover. Buy tokens, or check whether your monthly limit has been reached.
